Answer (1 of 20): Everyones opinions will vary here. To me short short are above mid thigh standing, 2 or 3 inch inseams at the most. Regular shorts are like a 5 and 7 inch inseams. 9 and 11 inch get to being longer shorts. A persons height will vary where the inseams hit on your legs standing. I
