The Zone Commando is GDI's new commando unit in Tiberium Essence. The Zone Commando replaces the original Commando in GDI's arsenal. He can kill enemy infantry with ease with his minigun, but is less effective against vehicles. Against structures, he can use Orbital Strike target painter. After a few seconds painting the target structure, a miniature Ion Cannon strikes the structure, destroying it.
