Wetsuit Tuxedos on Julien David Men's Runway

$ 18.00

4.8 (703) In stock

The men's spring 2015 fashion shows have been happening in Paris, and while it's an excellent excuse to take in male model eye candy—er, fashion—there was one particular style advancement that made me sit back from my computer, stop scrolling, and call some of my coworkers over for a look. Yep, that's a tuxedo wetsuit walking down the Julien David runway. It's beyond unexpected, but it's also downright genius when you get to thinking about it. While chatting about it with Sophia and Anne, we realized there's a multitude of dudes and situations that this thing is made for. The guy who's obsessed with surfing? Obviously. The scuba-certified couple whose dream it is to get married underwater? Um, duh. It'd be good if he's attending a black-tie wedding in monsoon season or just gets chilly easily (because, to Sophia's point, the whole reason for a wetsuit is to keep you warm while you're in cold water). The one case that brought us to a snag was when Anne suggested it for a guy who wants to show off his bod. Sorry, Anne, but no. Neoprene is basically heavy-duty shapewear, and, besides, that man's gonna rock a tuxedo Speedo. Did these
