A very beautiful dress for a very petite lady! High quality cotton lace with gathering just below waist waist is very nipped in about 22 or possibly 23 ins max bust is approx 28/29 it is a very petite dress. 46 ins long which make sit a lovely mid calf on most girls. Such a pretty little dress, the lace is a winter white over a deeper ivory lining layer. It has pearl buttons at the back (it was too small to fasten on my mannequin ), and matching buttons at the wrist. A couple of buttons have lost their shine but they are too pretty to remove. I can see no there damage and it has been hand washed easy to wear. ***The buttons loops down the centre back bodice seems a little loose and would benefit from a stitch to tighten them up so that they stay firmly closed when the dress is buttoned. Probably home made - very charming. This lovely dress is priced low as it is such a tiny size which means that most girls can't wear it, it could be made a little bigger by adding strip of lace or ribbon (a placket) to the centre back and moving the buttons on to that but it is very small all over including the narrow shoulders and tiny sleeves.
