It has been kiln fired to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit, permanently fusing the text to the porcelain. It will not wear, fade, or flake, even after prolonged use.

The cup is food- and dishwasher safe, we do recommend hand washing if your plate or cup contains any gold. Dishes with gold details cannot go in the microwave, they will spark.
