We ordered this for my elderly mother-in-law who needs abdominal support for what may be an inoperable hernia or just a prolapse situation. As with a pregnant woman, this design supports her extended abdomen, takes away her source of pain, and makes walking easy for her again. Most importantly, she can put it on and take it off by herself and it goes over her panties, so she doesn't have to wash it daily! Note: finding the right garment was NOT easy! However, the amazing Celia in customer support was incredibly helpful in all aspects of our search for the right item and guided us expertly through all the products until we found the right one.
