Areza Ultra-Absorbent Silicone Foam Dressing consists of five layers: porous silicone wound contact layer, PU foam layer, thin non-woven layer, ultra-absorbent layer, and outer waterproof/vapor-permeable PU film layer. The five-layer structure of this dressing is built in order to provide a dynamic fluid management under the dressing which provides optimal moist wound environment while reducing the risk of maceration. Moist wound environment can improve the the wound healing. The gentle porous silicone layer does not adhere to the moist wound surface but adheres well to the dry skin around the wound. The improved adherence to the dry skin allows the edge of the dressing to be lifted and repositioned if needed to check on the wound. The dressing may also minimize trauma to wound and its surrounding skin.
