The butt-forward cant increases concealability when worn behind the strong hip, the raised sweat guard protects you and the gun. The holster can be made with slick side of the hide inside the holster or outside of the holster. Which ever you prefer. If the rough side of the leather is out it will give greater stability in the pants, while the smooth side of the leather lies against the gun with a slicker draw and feel. Which ever you prefer.

Made vegetable tanned cow hide.
