The Io Thong is a low rise thong that sits higher on the sides with a flattering scoop in the front. Designed for comfort, this thong with a back elastic strong does away that uncomfortable wedgie bulk that so many thongs have. This thong is made to have either top applied elastic or fold over elastic. We recommend using our lightweight elastic as a top or bottom applied elastic for the most minimal edges. The string in the back is sewn on as one continuous piece with the leg. This is a good sewing project for someone who is a beginner but is looking to learn a new technique. It has very few seams and can be easily finished in 1 hour or less.
Sizes XS-3X. Sizes listed by waist and hip measurement.
This is a beginner sewing pattern. This project can be completed by most sewers in 30-60 minutes.
