The Hindu Goddess Devi or Uma is dancing holding one leg up and one arm above her head. Her long slender figure dances with a blithe spirit. In her hands she holds two fruits. The piece is done in the Khmer or Cambodian style. You can see by the style of the headdress. It has many leaf shaped triangles which form the base of the head dress and one triangular shape on the top of the head. The earrings are also Khmer style.
