This is a beautiful fabric! The blend of hemp and silk create a lightweight sheer fabric with durable properties and a shiny surface. Great for bridal attire and other dressy apparel, curtains, window shades, and lampshades. This fabric is very light and care must be taken when washing and drying. This fabric should be gently hand washed and air dried, or dry cleaned.

Silk should be hand-washed only, preferably with a special silk detergent. Pull into shape after washing and air dry. Be careful to iron the slightly damp cloth on low temperatures only. Sprinkling before ironing may cause water stains.
