This is an odd corset that has many sections of lacing which makes me think this is a maternity corset meant to expand from all angles as the wearer goes through their pregnancy. The length and shape of this corset makes the exact year a little unclear but my best guess is somewhere in the 30's/early 40's due to the elastic laces used. This piece is in rough shape and should be used only for study/display. The elastic in the laces is crunchy and worn out, there is heavy discoloration and staining, various small holes/rips.
